An Orientation programme for Gia and S.F 1st sem students was held on 1st Aug 2019. Brief introduction about College, its cells and working of G.T.U was imparted to the students.

Value Based Guidance to the 3rd Semester Students

An expert lecture was held on 13/08/19 on the Topic Emerging Trends in Technology by Mr. Pathik Jayani,MD Bluewhale Mobile & Website Design & Development New York. He enlighten the new technologies like machine learning, augmented reality, blockchain and big data.

About 40 students in 12 groups participated in the Project Fair. Students demonstrated their projects. The projects were judged by Mrs. Honey R. Gurnani. Top 3 groups were felicitated. Mr. Vimal Vaniya and Mr. Amit Lakhani were coordinators of the event.

About 35 students of Diploma Computer Engg. visited the “IFFCO Yuva Demonstration” At Kandla. Mr. Amit Lakhani was faculty coordinator of the visit.

The Engineer's Day was celebrated by Computer Engg. Dept. Activities were organised for each semester. 1st Semester - Poster Making Competition - About 50 Students participated. - Corodinated by Mr. Jony Gor and Ms. Hetal Jhala 3rd Semester - Technical Quiz Competition - About 35 Students participated. - Coordinated by Ms. Karishma Hathi and Ms. Jinny Hadiya. 5th Semester - Digital Animation Making Competition - About 45 Students participated. - Coordinated by Mr. Amit Lakhani. Event was overall coordinated by Mr. Vimal Vaniya, I/c. HOD of Comp. Engg. Dept.

Educational Tour for diploma computer engineering students was organised at Agile Infoways, Ahmedabad and TOPS Technologies, Ahmedabad. Total 53 students (26 std. of 4th Semester and 27 std.of 6th semester) visited the industries. Mr. Amit Lakhani and Ms. Karishma Hathi - lecturers computer engineering were faculty coordinators.

A expert lecture on "Crystal Report" was organised for 4th Semester students of Diploma Computer Engineering. Total 29 students attended. Mr. Vimal P. Vaniya, I/c. HOD of Comp. Deptt. was the Expert. Mr. Amit Lakhani , Lecturer Comp.Engg. was coordinator of the event.

Educational Tour was organized at Ecosmob Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and TOPS Technologies, Ahmedabad. About 53 students of 4th and 6th Semester Diploma Computer Engineering visited. Mr. Amit Lakhani, Ms. Karishma Hathi and Mr. Jony Gor were coordinators.

One Day Workshop on MVC Development using ASP.Net was organised for 6th Semester Students.Total 28 Students Participated.

Expert Lecture was organised for 6th Semester Students at Computer Department.Total 35 Student attended the Expert Lecture.

Total 31 students of Final Year participated in 14 Groups and Prizes were given to Top-3 groups. Students of 4th Semester visited the project fair. – Mrs. Honey R. Gurnani was the judge of the event.
